Happy Sunday!

Here's a lovely layout by Designer Rachelle to inspire you today!

Rachelle said this about her layout:
"Hi there scrappers. Rachelle here very excited to share my take for our sketch challenge. Pink and black are 2 of my fave colors to work with. I went with a soft shabby chic style. Next, I used a lot of chipboard, hearts, and flairs. Inked the title chipboard and applied the floral cluster. Using my granddaughter's photos help to create a great sketch take. I hope you have been inspired to create your layout for this awesome challenge. Can't wait to see yours soon. Thanks for viewing!!!

Stash List:

Dark Pink
Echo Park
Ebony

"True Love" LO by Designer Zsoka

Happy Friday!!!

Here's a wonderful layout from Designer Zsoka to get your weekend started!
Zsoka shares this about her layout:
"Hello hello,

Zsoka here today with you, sharing my take on Brenda's gorgeous sketch! One thinks of love right away!
Which then made me think of my best friend's twins and the special bond they have. Plus I haven't scrapped any of their photos in a long time!

In a weak moment I bought every single piece of the Crate Paper Hello Love collection, because I think it's gorgeous. I just haven't thought of the fact that I barely use pink and we don't celebrate Valentine's day either
smile emoticon
. So I desperately wanted to use up some of my stock and these pictures seemed to be the right choice to with!

The stash I used:
List 1: Dear Lizzy (Fine&Dandy mint-white striped paper) and dark pink
List 2: Ephemera (Crate Paper Hello Love tags and hearts)"

Just a couple day's left for you to upload your layout!!

"Together" LO by Designer Marie

Hello There!

Designer Marie has a fabulous layout to inspire you:
Marie shares this about her layout:
"What an interesting sketch to create. I was inspired by the four squares and tried to balance them with my picture. I've used several pieces from my stash, all from different companies and brands, but in the end it all made sense.
As for the item list, I've used doily, dark pink, ephemera pieces for my squares and a flair."

"Captured" LO by Designer Renee

Happy Hump Day!!
Here is today's inspiration layout from designer Renee to get your over the hump! :)
Here is what Renee said about her layout:

"I loved working with this sketch, made me think in ways to utilize it without having multiple coordinating pictures. I used the space to provide a spot for my journaling about my sweet babies. I don't mean to get emotional but I miss them everyday, it's the hardest part of separating from a relationship is losing innocent parts that had nothing to do with any of it. So lately, I've been scraping pictures of them as a therapeutic way to hopefully heal my soul. WHEW. ANYWAYS! The parts I included from the three list is doily, ephemera, and flair. What is also amazing about these challenges, is watching my stash dwindle down. So helpful to piece together items I wouldn't have thought to use together but look perfect in the end. I can't wait to see what you come up with also!!"
And here's the challenge:

Don't forget get your layout uploaded for this challenge and the Stash challenge!!! You have a few more days!! :)

"Always Remember" LO by Designer Asa

Hello!

Today's inspiration is from Designer Asa.  Here's her beautiful layout:
Asa said this about her layout:
This beautiful sketch was a bit hard for me in the beginning because I don´t really often use many photos in the same layout. I had to think hard for a while before I come up with this idea. Isn´t fun with sketches that really challenge you? I like that!
It´s my beautiful daughter Ebba in the picture when she was 7 years old. Love her eyes here. I did the photo black and white because I thought it would fit the colours on the page better.

My things from the lists:
#1 Doily
#2 Echo Park (paper)
#3 Flair

Can´t wait to see you work with this Sketch + 3 challenge.

"#Go Pl@y B@ll" LO by Designer Cassie

Happy Monday!

Lets start off the week with the wonderful layout by Deisgner Cassie:
Cassie shares this about her layout:
This sketch had me stumped for a minute, because I don’t have any printed photos in these sizes, so I decided to see what I already had printed small enough to work. I found these of my daughter’s first time at a baseball game last spring, but the sizes were off and I had too many. Well, this is why sketches are perfect…you don’t have to follow them exactly. I keep the feel of the pictures the same, but added an extra patterned paper layer behind the photos on the right side to give it more visual weight like the sketch. After adding lots of different pieces of patterned paper and all my photos, I really loved how it all came together. For the lists I ended up adding: Dark Pink and Dear Lizzy, Ebony Ink and Echo Park, Fawn and Flair.

And here's the challenge:

If you haven't linked your layout to the side bar, make sure you do it soon!!!
Challenges end 2/29th!

Have a Scrapful week! :)

"I Love You to The Moon" LO by DT Steffanie

Hello!

Today Designer Steffanie is sharing with you her awesome layout inspired by the
February +3 Sketch Challenge.
Here's her layout:
Here's what Steffanie said about her layout:

"Title: I Love You to the Moon
What February would be complete without some kind of love or valentine themed layout, right? I wouldn't want to let you down so here you go...
I really liked this sketch as is and it just so happened to work really well for my photos.
I think my list choices are pretty obvious but in case you're wondering, here's the breakdown:
List 1: doily, dark pink
List 2: Echo Park products
List 3: fawn
I took probably 20 photos of my son while he was filling out these valentines. I liked how they were all spread out on the coffee table and he had his list nearby, carefully checking off the names of his classmates and teacher as he went. He was so into it!"

"Fight" Layout by DT Zsoka Marko

Today we are sharing SOS Designer Zsoka's awesome take on our
February Book Inspired Stash Challenge:
Zsoka:
"Hey there,
Zsoka here today with another Dr.Seuss book inspired challenge! Even though the topic of this book is totally different (I assume...because I have never actually read either of these two books), the design to me looks very similar.

So again, I took inspiration from the colors and the hand drawn/sketched design. But also, the moose! Since Christmas wasn't long ago, I still have plenty of pictures from our holidays and moose just seemed to fit the winter theme. Funnily enough (at least to me!) I had this picture of my son and my father where they put their heads together, discussing, like when moose are fighting.

I stamped the lyrics of Little Drummer Boy on the background (no reason, it was just on my mind at the time) and painted some words with watercolor. Like most of the time, I am using a cut file here too, which I found in the Silhouette store. I used some matching Christmas papers from different collections to mat my photo and journaling (yeah, had I known what I want to do for this layout earlier, I wouldn't have spent so much time on stamping and painting the middle...but then again, I am not big on planning ha!). As required by this challenge, I added hearts, some of which I painted, some I left plain, because I love wood veneer just as it is. It looks good on any layout I find!

Hope I have inspired you to play along at Scrap Our Stash, I myself really love these challenges, they are so much fun! There's always a prize too!

Thanks for stopping by! X"

"Sweet" Layout by DT Marie Claire Rodier

Good morning!
Today's lovely feature is being shared by SOS Designer Claire, inspired by our
February Book Inspired Stash Challenge:
Marie:
When I first first saw the book cover, I was immediately attracted to the moose and I knew I had to do a layout about my super sweet dog. He's such a big energic and hyperactive little fellow that when he finally rests, I have to run and grab my camera to get a few shots, since it usually last only a few minutes.

Since we had to integrate hearts to our layout this month, I chose this lovely Maggie Holmes paper as my background. I've added a thin layer of white gesso and on top of it, modelling paste through a stencil, stamping and stash of wood grain papers that mixed well with my picture. I've completed my layout with wired string, chippies and gorgeous flowers."

"Look How Far We've Come" Layout by DT Renee Timmerman

Hello and welcome to another day of Design Team inspiration!
Today SOS Designer Renee is sharing her wonderful take on our
Renee:
"I was inspired by the rays in the background of the cover! So I used a stencil that was similar to the rays to cut out different scraps I had left from a SMASH book I ripped apart. I knew I wanted to document the first apartment I had with my past relationship because it was down right craziness. Once I started seeing the crazy things I could cut out from the SMASH papers, I felt it was perfect. I also added some Dear Lizzy stickers about homes - which I thought I'd never be able to use. I know this layout is a bit all over the place but I enjoyed the mess and got to use a lot of my stash. Hope I inspired you to get a little crazy with my interpretation of the challenge!!"

"Big Hearted Friend" Layout by DT Asa Johansson

Good morning everyone!
Today SOS Designer, Asa is sharing her beautiful interpretation of our
February Book Inspired Stash Challenge
Asa:
" I haven´t read the book but I was inspired by the title. The blond girl is a friend of mine with a BIG heart, so of course she had to be in the photo on this page with this title.
We were out in the forest in this photo, forest-moose... That´s one more similarity with the book.
The hearts weren't  hard to add, I have plenty of them!
I hope you are inspired by my page and I can´t wait to see your work!"

Here is our current challenge.

"My Darling Little MD" Layout by DT Cassie Wiscarson

Happy Monday!
Today's featured layout is the creative work of talented SOS Designer Cassie,
inspired by our
February Book Inspired Stash Challenge:
Cassie:
"I haven’t read this book before, at least that I remember, so I wasn’t too sure what I was going to use as inspiration. When I went through my printed photos, I found two pictures of my daughter when she was giving me care instructions for her stuffed frog with a “broken” leg. Perfect! These photos showed her caring nature and I was off and running. I also loved the striped look of the background and decided to use this fun arrow cut file and filled each row of arrows with various stripped pattern papers. Of course, I had to add at least two hearts, and I ended up with 3 of them."

"Beaches" Layout by DT Sherri Caramico

Happy Friday!
What better way to end your week than with some amazing inspiration!
Today's featured layout is the creative work of SOS Designer Sherri
inspired by our
Sherri:
"I decided to use the shrubs or foliage at the bottom of the book-cover, and the starburst effect behind antlers as my inspiration, as they reminded me of a photo / selfie that I took while on vacation this last October, at Beaches in Turks and Caicos!

I have to admit, while I love Dr. Seuss, and have ready many of his books to my (now grown up) sons, I have never read this one. Looking at the picture, I could have chosen the White, Blue, Black, Red color scheme, or a photo of a Moose! or maybe a big banner, or antlers, or a hat, or even just something related to hearts ("Big-Hearted Moose").... really, so many possibilities! - I hope your mind is running in a bunch of directions right now, as to how you are going to interpret it, and that you will play along with us! "
